SSC CHSL Recruitment 2026: Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2026 Notification on 7th September 2026. Online application started from 07.09.2026 and the last date to apply is 07.10.2026.
A total of 2536 tentative vacancies are announced for Lower Division Clerk (LDC)/ Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) and Data Entry Operator (DEO)/ DEO Grade A. 12th pass candidates can apply online at ssc.gov.in. Salary is up to Level-5.

Exam Pattern
Tier-I (60 Minutes, 100Q, 200 Marks):

There will be a negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer, Sectional timer 15 min each.

There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer in Section I, Section II, and Section III.

Go to https://ssc.gov.in and do new OTR.
Use Aadhaar authentication, live photo capture via camera.
Fill form, choose 3 exam centres in same region.
Upload signature 10-20 KB.
Pay fee if applicable and submit before 07.10.2026.
